Roberta Combs is a representational painter who lives with her family in Pitt Meadows, BC in Western Canada. Soft pastels are her favorite medium to work with. The rich, buttery texture and the clean velvet colors of pastel evoke an immediate response that is pure pleasure to develop. They allow simple scenes and common items to be transformed with beautiful light and delicious drama. The pure pigment creates radiant color.
