ROBERTA COMBS SFCA PSA PAC CIPA NPS MPAC

Roberta Combs uses vibrant color, extreme lighting, and dramatic composition to portray her realistic subject matter. Her still life paintings create an intimate view of her subject matter. Her portraits evoke personal emotion from their viewers. “I love the rich, buttery texture and the clean velvet color of pastels. They allow simple scenes and common items to be transformed with beautiful light and delicious drama.”

Roberta Combs has been awarded Senior Signature Status in the Federation of Canadian Artists and the Northwest Pastel Society; is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Portrait Artists; and is a Master Pastelist of the Pastel Artists Canada. Roberta has also been awarded Master Status Pastelist in the Pastel Society of America. She is the only artist in Canada to hold this designation.

Roberta lives with her family in Pitt Meadows, BC in Western Canada. Selected Galleries where her work has been seen include the Butler Institute of American Art, the American Art Company, the Birthplace of BC Gallery, The Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery and the National Arts Club Gallery.
